Mishmar mouth
The "mouth" of Mishmar is located in the Judean Desert. It is very picturesque, diverse and, most importantly, extremely beautiful. Everything is there: descents and ascents, brackets and gevs (reservoirs) with water. You can’t get around the reservoirs, so we will plunge into the water anyway!
And this means that you need to take a change of clothes (or swimwear) and a change of shoes with you.
The total duration of the route is 13-14 kilometers over rough terrain.
What to take with you:
You should take a backpack with you, 3-4 liters of water, and a snack for the whole day. Comfortable and closed shoes, shoes, swimwear (as we enter the water), Hats and sunscreen.
Ein Gedi-gev Halon
We start the hike from the ascent to Mount Yishai. The descent will lead us to a place called Gev Halon. We will definitely stop by the Temple of the Khalkhulite period and of course we will stop at Tel Goren, an ancient Jewish city. Throughout the route, we will talk about King David and the various wars in Israel. On the way back we will certainly not miss Nahal David.
